Why is it better to hire a taxi rather than drive your own car?
There are several reasons why it’s worth hiring a taxi. The first is definitely expensive third-party liability/comprehensive insurance. The second is the high wear and tear of your car, which drastically reduces its value. The third is the ongoing maintenance of your car. If you drive 5-6 days a week, your car will require an oil change every month, not to mention other repairs. When you rent a car, we handle the car’s insurance, maintenance, and ongoing repairs.
I'm decided, what does the car pickup look like?
A member of our office will arrange for you to sign the documents. During the call, the employee will provide you with a time and address for picking up the car. Upon handing over the car, we’ll complete a damage report and the rental agreement. Our employee will also take photos of the car’s exterior and interior. After signing the agreement, you can hit the road; your app accounts are usually activated upon signing the rental agreement.
Do I need a taxi license to work?
No, we provide the taxi license – each of our vehicles is equipped with a taxi license extract. You must present the taxi license extract to the police or the Road Traffic Inspectorate (ITD) during a roadside inspection.
Can I work as a taxi driver if I am a foreigner?
Yes, but you will need to complete additional formalities such as legal residence and work in Poland.
Can I choose the car model?
Yes, but this largely depends on the availability of cars in a given city. If a particular model is unavailable, you can rent another car from us while waiting for the one you want to rent.
How long does it take to issue/return a vehicle?
We strive to make the process as quick as possible. We ask that you return the car in the same condition you received it. You should receive the car clean inside and out, and you should return it to us in the same condition. The entire handover/return process should take a maximum of 20 minutes.
